The Amsterdam School Museum is housed in an exquisite Amsterdam School-style building built in 1928 (architect Jacob Peras), the only one of its kind in the Baltic States. This luxurious apartment has been restored to its original interior elements, creating an authentic inter-war Kaunas resident's home space.

During the education:

  • The architectural and interior features of the Amsterdam School are presented;
  • Interwar furniture design is discussed;
  • The layout and design elements of inter-war apartments are discussed, as well as the daily life of their inhabitants;
  • The culture of interwar Lithuania and Kaunas is presented as thriving, full of competent and impressive creators;
  • The education highlights the achievements of Lithuanian Jews and their contribution to Lithuanian culture and economy;
  • Discussions with schoolchildren;
